Concept QS Interline System - excl Mandrels

The ‘Hot start’ feature of this coil binding machine enables the Former to stop and restart without any Coil distortion, providing for smooth uninterrupted Coil insertion. The operator can focus on the binding process with the Plastikoil Gateway Concept Former taking care of itself. Intended for the trade bindery or larger in-plant, the PDC Concept QS Interline System is designed to accommodate the larger volume runs. Productivity of this coil binding machine has been rated as high as 800+ books per hour.

• Min/Max Lengths: 12.7 cm to 30.5 cm (with 12" model) OR 43 cms ( with 17" model)

• Speed and insertion Ratios: Pre programmed speed ratios optimized for each diameter, ensuring Coil is always available for document production. Over ride facility for custom settings.

• Hot start: Unique Hot start facility minimizes wastage when using as an interline unit.

• Digital Counter: Counter offers simultaneous box/total order requirement, minimizing wastage and over supply.

The Plastikoil Gateway QS Interline System: Plastic coil is formed in the diameter and length required, then immediately conveyed into the PDC 3000QS Auto Inserter, with the operator simply activating the foot pedal to complete the coil insertion into the pre-punched book with a simultaneous cut and bend of both coil ends.
