The James Burn JBI Docupunch Mk2 automatic paper punch is a compact and highly efficient punching machine. Able to handle most paper, card and divider stock, punching speeds of 17,000 sheets per hour can be achieved. Set up is completed in minutes and a tool change in seconds. Once set up is complete, the JBI Docupunch Mk2 paper punch can be left unattended to complete the job. Paper is fed through the machine remaining in collated order with perfectly registered holes. The DocuPunch® Mk2 is a versatile automatic punching machine designed for medium size runs involving multiple materials ranging from 80 to 250 gsm including acetates or plastic covers and diverse punching patterns including thumb cuts with maximum punched edge of 330mm (13″). It can also punch pre-collated tabbed sheets and offers a true output of up to 17,000 sheets (80gsm) / hour including loading & unloading operations.

It is designed with the On-Demand market in mind : setup time in less than a minute, die changes in seconds and hands free operation so your operator is free to perform other tasks. With an incredibly small footprint and heavy-duty casters, the DocuPunch® Mk2 will fit in even the tightest of space requirements.

  • Unique Pick Feeder: The James Burn JBI Docupunch is fitted with the same beak mechanism used by its big brother the JBI Alpha Doc, this means that stock is picked accurately.

  • Paper Path: Paper travels horizontally through the James Burn JBI Docupunch driven by belts rather than relying on gravity feed.

  • Interchangeable Die Sets: Die sets can be changed in seconds, with deselection of punch pins achieved without dismantling the tool.

  • Tooling Choice: A large choice of stock tooling is available, but should you require a special tool, it can be manufactured.

  • Flexible Paper Handling: Operates with various paper sizes (A4, A5 Landscape or portrait), types, index tabs and pre-collated covers.
