The Ideal 7228-06LT model is the ultimate in cutting capacity and technology, available with an airbed (LT model) for handling heavy stock. In addition a foot pedal override facility allows clamping awkward work such as folded booklets prior to knife action. Infra red light beams provide absolute safety and easy access to the front table.

Features and Benefits

Programmable: Separate control module allowing 20 programs to be stored with 16 steps in each program.

Automatic: Automatic start of back gauge after every cut in program mode.

Preset: 10 Button keypad for presetting back gauge measurements.

Memory: Memory key for repeat cuts

Diagnostics: Self diagnosis system with error indication on display, plus plug in back gauge control module, making servicing simple.

Eject Function: Keypad gives a paper eject function, with or without program mode.

Airbed: An optional extra with the LT. When large amounts of heavy stock are to be cut. Airbed on both front and back tables.

Clamping: Clamping system guided from both sides, clamp can be raised and lowered independent from blade. Plus foot pedal for pre clamping.

Micrometer adjustment: Electronic hand wheel with infinitely variable speed, allows manual setting of the back gauge ( from very slow to very fast).

Accuracy: Optical and mechanical cutting indicators for precise positioning and cutting.

Capacity: Cuts up to 80mm depth of paper.

Safety: Fitted with front and rear fully electronic safety guards. Two hand activation with repeat blocking for synchronous operation. Automatic blade return from any position and disc braking for instant blade stop. Blade depth adjustment from outside the machine. Main on/off switch with key operated safety lock.
